Having a great relationship with our dogs is every owner's wish. Playing with your dog is a great way to build that bond and build your dog's confidence but sometimes it's hard to know what to do aside from the usual walks, runs or games of fetch. DOG SPORT is the answer.
BARN HUNT
Barn Hunt is the very old practice where farmers use dogs to track down and rid their barns of vermin.
The sport of Barn Hunt is a fun event that allows your dog to draw on its instinctual prey drive and an unparalleled sense of smell to methodically search through bales of straw to locate, and indicate when they have found the live rat.
Your dog will be challenged both mentally and physically but above all it is FUN for both you and your dog.

Barn Hunt Workshops
Never tried Barn Hunt before? Need to re-introduce your dog to the sport? Our Intro to Barn Hunt Workshop is the place to start. 2 hours in length, we will introduce your dog to the rat and teach both your dog and his handler to the rules of the game. Your dog will get the chance to try the Rat Instinct Test and run a Novice Level course.
Once your dog has been introduced to the rat, you are ready for our Instinct/Novice Workshop. In this 2 hour workshop we will further build your dog's indication, introduce tunnels, enforce the rules of the game and run Novice Level hunts. We will also complete your Instinct test.
Workshops are 2 hours in length $60 e-transfer ONLY and must be paid in full to hold your spot - No Refunds, workshop runs rain or shine

Notes:
Dogs must not be human or dog aggressive
No bitches in heat
Only 1 dog per handler
If your dog marks on the course twice, he will not be allowed to continue running the course but you are welcome to stay and watch - no refunds will be given
